About Chris Vineis

Christine Vineis is CEO and Founder of Unite for Safe Social Media, a 501 c 3 organized in 2023.


Chris has had a rich public affairs career, specializing in federal government relations, representing clients across the country in Washington. As President of her own firm, Capital Partnerships, she worked on sophisticated, complex and diverse projects requiring creative financing, unique approaches and intense relationship building and advocacy. She won over $ 2.5 B in public and private funding for clients. Today, she remains actively engaged with projects she loves!


In New York, at Pfizer headquarters, she led the company’s groundbreaking advertising campaign . At IC Industries in Chicago, a Fortune 100 company, she was the company’s youngest officer. And she sold corporate jets for two years in New York City!


Chris has a proven track record of visioning and creating successful organizations that have withstood the test of time. WTS is now 41 years old with 80 chapters nationwide and Ohio Women in Government celebrated its 25th anniversary last year.


Moved and motivated by the challenge to help families manage the risks of social media, she has now formed Unite for Safe Social Media focusing on 3 pillars: educating families-inspiring them to support one another – and activating their voices on behalf of sound legislation.

Chris is a member of the Screen Action Network’s Online Harms Committee and Fairplay’s mentor program, and the Phone Free Schools Coalition.
